Ringier Axel Springer launches new corporate website

Ringier Axel Springer presents its new design. The brand portal, which consists of the holding site and four country sites, provides informative content about the company and delivers well-arranged information on its print products and digital offerings.

Interested users, advertising clients, job candidates and journalists will find all relevant information on the homepage www.ringieraxelspringer.com and on the individual country sites of Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Serbia, with versions in both the local language and English: www.ringieraxelspringer.pl, www.ringieraxelspringer.cz, www.ringieraxelspringer.sk, www.ringieraxelspringer.rs.

Users can expect an easy and intuitive navigation structure, which will enable them to discover not only single products but also the brand’s complete product range. In addition to a well-arranged product overview, the site also offers the opportunity to discover the variety and people of the company.

„With the relaunch of our corporate website, we are strengthening both our public image and our self-image as a young and modern company. The new portal signals the idea of the Joint Venture as a unified association of strong brands and companies“, comments Florian Fels, CEO of Ringier Axel Springer Media AG.

The new corporate website was implemented by a multinational project team working together out of six different countries. The design of the new brand portal was created by the Austrian agency seso media group.

Ringier Axel Springer Slovakia and Azet.sk are integrating online and digital development departments effective January 2012

The management of Ringier Axel Springer Slovakia has decided to integrate their online and digital development departments into one organization under the brand of Azet.sk.

According to the company´s digitization strategy, effective as of 1st January 2012, the online and digital development department of Ringier Axel Springer Slovakia will move over into Azet.sk.

“We will create one center and one team that will participate on the development of all online and digital products to ensure better coordination of further strategy direction of these products of both companies” said Peter Mertus, General Manager of Ringier Axel Springer Slovakia.

As of January 2012, the integrated departments of Ringier Axel Springer Slovakia and Azet.sk will be managed by Milan Dubec, the General Manager of Azet.sk.

Ringier Axel Springer Slovakia takes over the license of the monthly Auto Bild Slovakia

The largest multimedia publishing house in Slovakia, Ringier Axel Springer Slovakia, is expanding its portfolio by the monthly Auto Bild Slovakia, which has been operating on Slovak market since April 2004. First issue under its baton will be available on 21st December 2011 (1/2012). The owner of brand „Auto Bild“ is German publisher Axel Springer AG that has 50% share in Ringier Axel Springer Media AG.

The automotive world in modern graphics with exclusive photos – this will continue to be the content of licensed monthly Auto Bild Slovakia intended for all lovers of motoring.

Each issue of the magazine will include the latest information from cars´ world in modern graphic design with impressive photos. Auto Bild Slovakia will exclusively introduce the latest models of cars that have not been presented anywhere else yet.

As the matter of course there will be still available extensive and detailed comparative tests of those cars that are the most interesting for Slovak motorists. Large space will be devoted to affordable and available used vehicles. Auto Bild Slovakia brings also amusing motoring curiosities, information on tuning, motor history and sport. Useful and handy advices for drivers will not be missing in each issue.

“Auto Bild Slovakia has always been taking and will take the motorists´ side in future. We therefore address to problems, which drivers encounter daily, such trifles as choosing the right antifreeze into screen washer or amendments and modifications in the Road Act,” stated the Head of Product Auto Bild Ľuboš Kamenistý.

The licensee in Slovakia and publisher of the monthly Auto Bild Slovakia was until now the company Borna s. r. o. The first issue under the baton of Ringier Axel Springer Slovakia will be available on 21st December 2011 in the extent 84 pages. The magazine will be on sale for 1,99 €.

Ringier Axel Springer Slovakia and Azet.sk are integrating their Sales Departments

Ringier Axel Springer Slovakia, the largest multimedia publishing house in Slovakia, and Azet.sk, the leading internet company, are integrating their Sales Departments as of 1st January 2012. The integration process relates also to the auditing of online magazines.

As of 1st January 2012 the Sales Departments of Ringier Axel Springer Slovakia and Azet.sk will be integrated. Online sales representatives of Ringier Axel Springer Slovakia will move over into the Sales Department of Azet.sk. Administratively online business activities of both companies will be managed by the Sales Director of Ringier Axel Springer Slovakia, Roman Fülöp. Marek Václavík, Sales Director of Azet.sk, will manage the commercial activities of catalogue products.

Relating to the integration of Sales Departments, all online magazines of Ringier Axel Springer Slovakia will be officially measured by AIM Monitor under Azet.sk brand as of of 1st December 2011.

“By integrating such a strong portal as Cas.sk into the internet leader Azet.sk, we will create the most powerful and news leading web portals within the Slovak internet environment with best reach of real users,” said General Manager of Ringier Axel Springer Slovakia Peter Mertus.

Azet.sk became in 2010 a part of the biggest multimedia company in Central and Eastern Europe – Ringier Axel Springer Media AG. The largest publishing house Ringier Axel Springer Slovakia is its daughter company.
Ringier Axel Springer Slovakia announced an acquisition of 70% shares of Azet.sk, which is the leading internet company in Slovakia. The integration is another significant milestone with regard to the synergies of both companies.
